Industrial 3D Printer from VoxelJet AG., Germany.

Maximum dimensions of production : 500 × 400 × 300 mm.

CAD File Format : In general, common 3D CAD file formats that is able to transform to .STL format are accepted, but prefer .STL,.STP,.IGS.


Production Abilities
Powder bed and inkjet 3D printing technology, known variously as Binder Jetting or 3DP Additive Manufacturing

Layer thickness (Z coordination) : 0.15mm.

Layer speed : 15 mm/hr (=3 l/hr).

Accuracy : ±0.4% (min. ± Layer thickness).


Particulate Polypor
Color : Pure white

Particle size : 85 μm.

Resolution (x,y coordinations) : up to 600dpi.

Tensile strength : 3.7MPa.

Yield point : 1%.

Burn-out temperature : For general pattern, above 700℃ and last for more than 1 hour.

1. we examines the 3D CAD file from an engineering perspective and then prepares it for 3D printing after order received.
2. After the building platform raises the job box to its topmost position, the recoater begins applying the particulate material in thin layers onto a build surface. The standard layer thickness is 150 µm.
3. A high resolution print head then selectively prints binder onto the surface where the components are to be produced and subsequently bonds the area.
4. After each layer is applied, the building platform is lowered by the particular layer thickness. The recoater applies another layer of particulate material, which is again selectively bonded to the previous layers.
5. The process keeps repeating until the topest component's desired build height is reached.
6. When the printing process is finished, the excess material is extracted and the component is exposed.
7. In the end, the printed components can be finished, depending on the application purpose (for Casting or for Display).

1. Printed Model Infiltrated with Wax (for Investment Casting Models)
Can be treated the same as wax model.
Meanwhile, it has much better strength, compare with traditional wax model, makes it a good solution for larger size components.

 Tensile strength : up to 3.7MPa.

 Softening temperature : 73℃ and above.

 Burn-out temperature : Above 700℃ and last for more than 1 hour. Almost no residual ash.
The ceramic slurry shell, which developed from the waxed PMMA 3D model, is free from damage due to minimal expansion during the burn-out process.

 Quick, accurate, almost any complex design model can be produced.
Improve productivity of casting significantly, especially in case of emergency, highly complex, diversified test samples.
2. Printed Model Infiltrated with Epoxy Resin (for Design or Exhibition Models)
Strength of the model improved by infiltrated with epoxy resin. Surface of the model is dyeable (dyeing is not included in our services).

 Tensile strength : up to 25MPa.
 Softening temperature : 80℃.
 Solid material, dyeable.

How To Get A Quote ?
Please send an inquiry with your requirements :

  • 3D CAD data file(STL, STP, IGS format prefered),

What File Formats Can Be Used ?
In generally, we processes all common 3D file formats, but prefers .STL, .STP and .IGS.
How Those Files Will Be Treated ?
All files from our customers are treated as strictly confidential. Before the printing process begins, we reviews each 3D model submitted to identify any errors. If any irregularities arise, we will inform you for confirmation as soon as possiable.

The pricing process is based on followings :

How Are The Part Delivered ?
In common, we will deliver components by shipping company for Taiwan island. In principle, you can also pick up the goods yourself.

If you have a special request, we will work closely with you to find the best way of shipping the components to their destination.
What Lead Times Can I Expect And Do You Offer Express Shipping ?
3D printing PMMA model for Taiwan island, we offer lead times for delivery as follow :

 Express 5 working days or less
 Normal 10 working days or less
 Loose 15 working days or less

The different price categories, among other things, depend on these lead times.

What Industry Segments Apply This Technology ?
This technology is especially suitable for producing molds and metal casting models in small series. They are also used to develop prototypes.

The processes are becoming an increasingly popular choice in the production of design samples, art and architectural parts as well as spare parts and individual pieces.
What Materials are used in Printing ?
PMMA (Polypor C), simplified burn-out processes in investment casting and for all-white architectural models.
What Are The Advantages Of Voxeljet's Plastic Models ?
Can be treated like wax model. Besides, due to better strength, it is good for larger size.

 High surface quality and resolution.

3. Model Properties
How Complex Can The Components Be ?
There are almost no limits in terms of geometry.

Limitations :
 It must be possiable to remove excess particulate materials from the components.
 A wall thickness of at least 1 mm must be maintained, depending on the geometry. For investment casting purpose, wall thickness should be at least 2mm.

Each component is assigned to a certain complexity level. The pricing, among other things, is base on this complexity.
How precise will component be after printing ?
Accurcy : ± 0.4 % layer thickness (min. ±0.3mm)
Shrinking:0.7~1.0%
What size of component can be implemented ?
We use VX500, offer a build space of 500 x 400 x 300 mm (LxWxH).
What Types Of Finishing Treatment Options Available ?
Components can be infiltrated with wax (for investment casting models) or epoxy resin (for design or exhibition models). It is not possible to print pigmented components directly; however, colors can be applied manually after printing.
